Technological problems again

I am in my town again and, of course, was impossible that everything went ok. The first thing I saw when I open my laptop was that I hadn't got internet conexion. Why?? I didn't understand anything, the table computer worked and had internet, why my laptop didn't?? Finally I discovered that the router was broken.
I spent two days traying to put another router buy it didn't work too; after this, I decided to open my old router and adjust some things. I really don't know what I did but, the router began to work!!!!

I am proud of myself!!!

My host city: Zaragoza

If you read my blogg, you know now that I don't live in my town, so, today I am going to introduce yourself my current city: Zaragoza. It is located between Madrid and Barcelona, as you can see in the following map:

The truth is I like the city although is not my real city, the only thing I don't like is the weather because is horrible, in winter there is so much air and is very cold and in summer the heat is horrible. However is a very nice city:

I study business and law in the economics faculty and also in law faculty. They are very different, as you can see in the following photos. However, law faculty is very famous in Spain

Two years ago there was a global water expo and the pet was fluvi. There were many changes in the city and was created a new big place to the event that know is a very good place to walk or to practise some sports.

In Zaragoza there is also a football team, despite Zaragoza is one of the biggest cities in Spain, its football team is not very good it's name is:  Real Zaragoza S.A.D. and its football field is "La Romareda", that is a bit old.

Its name is Molina de Aragón, is very small (just 4.000 habitants) and it's located in the center of Spain, between Zaragoza and Madrid, but it belongs to Guadalajara (Castilla La Mancha). As you can see in the photos, is a very beautiful place with a very nice people ;). If you are able to visit it, do it; I'm sure you are going to enjoy it.

My mobile phone

Many years ago I saw in the TV that a mobile phone had exploted to a men in Japan in he had died. The first think I thought was: why all that things always happen in China or Japan, they are a little strange, but I gave no importance.
Next year, the government made a new law about security of mobile phones; people have to give their identity number, their name,... all their personal data, because of the terrorists attacks in Madrid. Well, I went to a mobile telephone store to give my personal data because the time to gave it was over and my mobile phone was going to be off. For that personal data they needed the number of my SIM card, so I had to open my phone and to remove the battery and the card. When I put them again my phone didn't close well and I didn't know what, but it was very old ( by boyfriend had give it to me two years ago and before was his phone for at least three years more, but I liked it), so I didn't mind so much.
One day the cover of the mobile fell off and I saw the battery well, it was swollen!!!! I couldn't believe that. It had a thickness of at least one inch!!! It was going to exploit!!! As soon as I could I bought another telephone, I was scared it could kill me! Maybe Japanese were not so rare.

Summer London Trip

That summer a friend of mine and me traveled to London with a grand that we received. The first difficult thing was to look for a good trip, so, we hired an agency to look for a family and a language course, it seems easy but wasn't because where we lived every agency was very expensive, so the cheapest we found was in Madrid, 400 kilometres from our city. The problem was that we have to sign a lot of papers, read conditions ... but we haven't fax, so our parents received the papers in our town, and then they send us to the city were we lived; when the papers were signed, the same, first to our parents and then to madrid. When we finally finished it, started to looking for a cheap flight but it didn't exist, we were looking for one for months but it was impossible, so, we take one not very expensive but with a problem. We had to sleep at the airport because it arrived at midnight and at that hours buses didn't work!!! It was a horrible night, moreover this night Spain won the football eurocup and we couldn't saw it because the airport hasn't TV!!
At 7:00 in the morning we took the first bus to the center of London, imagine, with all the luggage, tired and lose in an foreing country. First we took that bus, then the subway to the nearest station to the adress of our house (that was the only thing we had). When we left the underground we started to walk to our house, we walked for al least 30 minutes uphill to found the house!!!  Luckily there was people there, because they thougt that we had to arrived the day before, that was true but we tried to call many times from the airport the day before and was impossible, we didn't know why. Finally we were installed!!
In this trip we had another two problems. The first one was with internet (again, I had many problems with it in my life) we had our laptop computers, however, in the house there wasn't wi-fi, so we carried with them for nothing, because in the school they neither had wi-fi. So, we had to conected in the school computers and we were allow to conected only in four, and of this only 2 worked. The problem was that a lot of people had the same problem, as a result we were 50 persons for only 2 computers!!! You have to go early in the morning or very late af evening if you want to conected.
The second problem was the phone, the family didn't allow us to use the telephone ( we had a telephone card to call, and with the code you didn't spent money in their telephone, but there were not very friendly), so, we had to use public telephones to call our parents. Public telephones were so dirty, they were smelly, and a lot of rare people look at you bad. Hereby we had to call very early, because in the night scared and our family had to be aware of when we call.
However, despite this we had a great time in London, is a wonderful city and we met many people.

My second year

One of my friends came to live with me and she disliked a lot my flat because it was very old, so, the girl that lived with me, my friend and me decided looking for a flat, such a great idea!!! It was horrible. In that year Zaragoza (the city where I lived) had the EXPO, and everithing was full, you can only rent flats for weeks and the prices were huge. So, before made a hundred calls, visited many flats and lose so much time we didn´t find any good flat, finally we stayed in our first flat.
In spite of having internet (we were still "stolen" it), my technological problems suddenly appeared. On my first month my personal computer broke down and I needed it everyday because that year I had to deliver, at least, 3 projects per week. As a result I had to go to my university in order to made my projects there; it wasn't so far from my house ( 15 minutes more or less), but the main problem was that the computers hadn't got any sistem to write a project. There were mac, but I don't mind I am sure that mac have a  program like word in PC. In my university it wasn't installed and I can't write good ,I had to make my project in notepad, it was horrible, every project was like a punishment for me. But that isn't all, I had to deliver my projects in paper, so I needed to pint them; well, the reprographics of my university only was open in the mornings, and I did my works in afternoons because in the mornings I had classes. As a result I went to the university in the afternoon in order to write my projects andneeded  to got up early to print them before class.
When finally my computer was fix I couldn't believe it!!! I think that that weeks were the worst 4 weeks of my degree.

My first year

It was the first time I was going to live without my parents, so I wanted to live in an students residence. However, it was impossible, so I started to look for a shared flat. The first thing you think about when you are looking for a flat is the localization and the price; nevertheless that are not just the things you have to be aware to.
Based on my experience, it´s important to look for a big water kettle, because if not, maybe you have to have a shower with a cold water, like me. Our water kettle was so small that only had hot water for one shower each eight hours (wihout take in to acount the hot water to wash the dishes), and we was 3 persons living in the house, so, only one had hot water.
Another important thing is the fridge. In your house there isn´t no problems, your mum makes everything and you don´t  mind about the fridge. However, when you share 50 cm2 with 3 persons you start to mind it.
One of the most important things to the free time is the TV, you may be thinking: who rent a flat without tv?? Is that possible?? yes, it`s possible, we had to ask for one to our hoseholder because in the flat we hadn´t got one.
But all of this hasn´t got importance if you compare it with have internet. Nowadays that`s the main thing you need; you use it for everything you can imagine, and in our house we hadn´t got it. The problem was that we couldn´t pay for it because in the flat we hadn´t a telephone capture, so, everyday we took our personal computers and walked around the flat looking for a unsecured wireless, because we needed it to make presentations, to look for information, to send works to the professors,....for everything.
One year later we were an experiment hackers in that way jajaja, we found an unsecured wireless called THOMSON, and our lifes were easier then.

The begining

While we live with our parents we are not aware how important is the technology in our lifes. Usually internet works, you have a microwave (of course, who does´t?), the TV is an essential element in your house..., we only think: how would my parents communicate before without a mobile phone?
However, when you live home you start to feel how much you need all these things you never be worried before.
I left home five years ago, because I am from a village and started University, and in these five years I haven´t had one without technologic problems.
